I used to have a 1995 F-250 which I miss a lot, but being in college when gas went up a few years ago, I could no longer afford to put gasoline in it, as many of you with getting 10 mpg highway loaded or unloaded. So anyhow, I was wondering if anyone can tell me what Ford called the color, as when I graduate here in a year, I am going to find a nice 1996 F-250 or F-350, and have it painted to match my old truck. I have only ever seen 3 truck so far in my life this same color. As far as I can tell it was called Deep Forest Green Metallic. I can't get the paint code off of it, obviously, because I no longer have it. The color sort of changed from blue to green depending on the light it was in, as you can see from the picture.
Had a problem with my match, also. NAPA has a paint supplier in Cols. OH that nailed it. Type and factory #. You can call this store (740)474-2131. Mine is the sweetist blue just like the factory produced, and kinda rare.

Thanks.

I have the same color, they changed the name to "Tourmaline". I believe the color code is NA.
gmk035, thank you for the code. The truck had a 460 in it, hence the gas mileage. It also had F-350 springs in the rear with overloads. When I sold it, it had 127,000 on it, and was still running like new.
Thats a great color. My previous truck was a 95 XL that was deep forest green metallic with the tobago (teal) lower accent.
FYI, If you repaint a truck and change the color, the door jambs, underhood, between bed and cab etc all need to be painted or it will never look right.
Maybe someone that as a truck this color can check their door sticker.
Look at the drivers door post and where it says paint. Well that's your paint code.
And if your looking for the color name, then post the code and we can tell you.
Deep tourmaline /forest green duplicolor match? which one?
duplicolor changed the name of the NA green tourmaline paint and code they used previously. what is the new / best color they sell called? for ford tourmaline green called. I would like to get what matches on the first try for once. I'm sure some one has the info. thx I'm looking for a spray can.
I have three different touch up paints for the Tourmaline color (pics attached). The first is Duplicolor, the second is Plasti-kote, and the third is Scratch Fix. The "scratch fix" is a little hard to read...it says NG FM 356 Dark Tourmaline Med NA NB ND Ford.
If none of these are available, you could have the local auto paint store mix you a small quantity and apply it with a Preval sprayer. They are cheap and available at the local hardware store, although I've never used one.
