Best Trailer Brake Controller?
what's your thought on the best trailer brake controller? I know a lot of you guys have the tekonsha prodigy and love it, but I was just on Tekonsha's website and apparently they have a new flagship model: the P3.

does anybody have any experience with the P3? What would you suggest.
I have a Tekonsha Voyager on a different vehicle, and have had problems with it pulsing. Almost like a feedback loop. If the car hits a bump while breaking, the brakes surge a bit, which makes decelleration that makes the whole process keep repeating, almost like a vibration. I have to take my foot off the break to 'reset' it. Anybody have that happen? I'm hoping the more advanced brake controllers won't do that as much.
Cheers,
I use it on my 18" car trailer, and it just works. Definitely worth the extra money.
Called Southwestwheel. My preference, the Hayes G2 is still not available yet.

So I asked about the P3 vs Valley's Odessey II. The sales rep said the Odessey was better internally, more robust.
It arrived last night, so we'll see how it works...
