Engine oil temp.
What is a pretty average engine oil temp? I am running the 195 degree thermostat. In weather any where from 0 degrees to 70 degrees without pulling anything the temps runs around 200 degrees to 205 degrees. This is not with syn. Oil. I pull a 5th wheel in the summer and have just put in the gauge and an a a little concered with this temp. Pulling the 5th wheel is bound to work it harder and get hotter. What is everyone else running?

Sounds about normal. I am running a Terminator pump though. I run a touch above 200* unloaded. I run normally around 220* loaded. I have pegged the gauge (250*) in the summer. I have the sensor mounted at the oil filter housing. I will be installing a different gauge with a higher top side to get a better idea.
I ran some scans last year and recorded normal towing at about 225*.
Another test cycle, (Moab, UT) AE recorded EOT at 258*.
