Where is the oil pressure sensor on my 85 F250 6.9? When I turn the key on without starting the motor, My oil press goes high and stays there even when running untill I turn the key off. I was hoping that I could un plug the sensor to see if the sensor was bad or if I had a bad wire somewhere. Can anyone help me out? Thanks

 

Right at the back of the motor on top.

 

Yeps, top rear end of the engine, near the firewall.

 

Thanks everyone, Found it and got it working. The wire was shorted.
