just put a can in your full tank, letting it sit SHOULDENT be a problem ( correct me if i'm wrong ) and just ask a buddy or any local mechanic what to do with the vacume line... i ran lines from my manifold to a HHO cell ( dont tell me it dosent work ) so i just used that line.... or, like whats-his-name said, just put about half in a spray bottle and spray it right down the carb, with the air cleaner off that is!
Seafoam is a geat product. I use it in my '84 F250 with 300 I6, NP435 4-spd., and NP208. I pour about 2/3 of a can into the gas tank and then fill the tank with gas. The other 1/3 of the can gets poured VERY slowly down the carb while my son revs the engine a little. Yeah, it does make some smoke but that's OK. A really dirty engine will gag out the neighbors so I usually do this at night or when they are at work.
As to E10 fuel, there was a time when engines were built with gaskets and seals made for gasoline contact that would dissolve in alcohols. For quite a while, though, they have made seals and gaskets to withstand both gasoline and ethanol, so this is not the issue it once was... unless you have 20+ year old seals in your truck, that is. I have had no problems whatever with running E10 in my truck. In fact, it seems to run a little better on that than on the old regular unleaded. At least, I no longer need to put any drying agent like methanol in the gas tank to remove the condensate.
sea foam is a fuel stabilizer.and cleaner in one. i mix it in with my chainsaw mix, and that saw fires up second pull 6 months to a year later. i put it into my quad fuel tank in the fall and it fires up in the spring.all my seasonal vehicles get it regularly as well.plus i think you can put it in the oil to clean the engine out a bit before an oil change.try it you'll love it. plus sea foam's deep creep is better than wd4o.when you find a can just read the label it's amazing

A chainsaw doesn't have much fuel capacity. How much Seafoam do you add? Just curious 'cause I have a saw that is hard to start and this just might fix it.
