The full moon has me acting a little crazy... no just been busy with meetings all day today. I agree with Robert, I want some crawfish. This past weeked I went to Miss. to the inlaws, had lots of fun!!!!!!!!!, lost count of the people crawfishing in the swamp along I-10. I guess this means crawfish are going to be a good season. Hope everybody has a good evening.

All of y'all are a bunch of teasers! Just thinking about crawfish makes me hungry. It's al right I think this weekend the wife and I are having a couple of friends over and going to boil a sack or two. The prices have come down a little bit since Good Friday, maybe a little more by the weekend.

Good morning to everybody!
Mark, yeasterday afternoon when I got off I-10 Slidell seafood had crawfish $28.00 for 10 lbs boiled and 2.29 live. I wish they would hit as low as 99 lb live. Here is a quick invite for everybody, On April 18 in Slidell there is the 6th annual Hospice Crawfish Cook-Off. It's $20.00 a ticket at the gate for all of the crawfish you can eat! There are 50 teams and a local market boils all day. They will have three bands playing through out the day and you buy tickets for drinks. You can buy advance tickets at Whitney Bank and I think they are $15.00. I will be there with the Whitney Bank team, last year we boiled 22 sacks. If I can remember my wife told me the whole cook off boiled over 35,000 lbs!, come by and check it out.

I'm not sure we'll ever see $0.99 / lb again.. I can remember complaining about $0.50/lb, a long time ago when $0.39/lb was what it would get to during April/May. Oh well.. I think we paid about $2.50/lb Good Friday.. The sack we bioled in January in Vidalia was $2.00/lb.... but we get it from the producer there.
I've been to the Hospice Cook Off a few times.. It's a good time. Not sure I'll be in town for this years, but if I am, I'll come find you.
And BIGKEN, the wife is visiting new car dealerships... I might need some advice in the near future. (groan).
