Hi y'all...I have a 2005 SD CC with the captains chairs and console in the front. With the addition of a 4th kid, I really don't want to take 2 cars when we take the camper out. My solution is to take out the console and put in a jumpseat. However, I want it temporary. As I understand it, if I get a jumpseat from another SD, I would have to remove the armrests from the captains seats in order for it to fit.
I was wondering if anyone knows whether it would work if I got the brackets for the SD jumpseat and modified them to fit onto an F150 jumpseat, which is narrower. Then I would not have to remove the armrests and I could do the transition in about 10 minutes when I needed to.
Anyone have any thoughts on whether this is possible?
