I sure wish I had the time this weekend to go with you Pat. I got some stuff going on that won't allow it, just figures I've been doing nothing for 2 weeks too.
Dang Jason, you are all over this one, and for good cause too. Hey folks, just so I know before I do my thing, is there a Paypal transaction fee for this? It won't matter for my donation, I am just trying to figure out PP because I have done many things with it, and sometimes I get charged a $9.95 fee.
Since moving it off of my debit card to a CC I have not seen it so maybe that was it. Anyone know?

.....and kabump again Jason.
Wow, I have never been charged a fee with paypal, very strange. Hope that doesn't happen this time....
Gotta keep this short for ya Mike, don't want to take up bandwidth for dialup users
On your end i am not sure. But I wasn't expecting a fee on the balance.. But was thinking nothing is for free. Then when you great folks starting donating it showed up. Donated $20 Fee. .88 = $19.12. And to my surprise there was a fee.. I think it is acceptable though. Paypal has to make somthing to offer this great service. Using a debit card you might get charged on your end. Not sure on that.

I hope all that are going has a safe trip.
Godspeed Mark! you are missed.

Rich.. something tells me we would have had a riot..
When its a transaction that is purely $$, paypal charges a fee....its a percentage of whatever the total is. I found this out the hard way too a while back.
When you buy things on ebay, the fee is not charged because its built into the ebay fees somehow...
Dan sends Pat and I a screenshot every night of the Pay Pal activity. Pay Pal charges the receiver of the funds a transaction fee. The payee does not get charged a feefrom my understanding.

this is correct. the payer does not pay a fee.
the receiving party pays the fee for using paypal.
