Gelling and high ICP
a while ago Lisa's truck jelled up and the qustion was asked why did the pcm thow a ICP code..i just read this quote on a thread from a guy that had trouble with high ICP and truck would stall out.i know Lisa did have ICP trouble...his problem was in his fuel bowl..but none the less..gelling will do the same..just thought id share it with you guy's weather its worth it or not..
Re: Whats causing my hpop pressure to climb untill the truck dies

I thought I'd give an update to the fix on this truck for anybody that pulls this thread up in a future search.
So the fuel checked out fine and the injectors were sent off to Jim at Rosewood diesel shop and they checked out fine.
And the answer to this whole mess is.......The standpipe in the fuel filter housing failed. The valve was stuck closed, the little rod that pushes it open was tweeked along with the spring on the bottom. the truck was simply running out of fuel.
The fuel pressure checked out fine because I tested it at the fuel filter housing, if I had tested it at the head it would have shown that it had no fuel.
So there you have it, icp will climb as your truck runs out of fuel, apparently.
