Transmission life
Whats the average life our transmissions (automatic) ? i have about 160K miles on my truck right now.. i dont have any tranny problems.. im just trying to plan for the future. I would love to buy a tranny to support stage IIs.. also.. is a manual tranny easy to install and make the conversion?

must be nice i had my truck for 7 months and tranny quit, rebuilt it. now 8 months later (11k miles) it quit again.

That is why I took it to Lead Hill, Ar. and had BTS do mine. Do it once and be done with it.

its a long long story, but the first time it was rebuilt by a joke of a shop under a "warranty." now i am having my guy do the work, if it don't last after this i'll be in the market for a new truck with the ZF-5.
