Replacement Harness
Hey all, I am installing a clarion dxz955mc music catcher into my 2005 f150 lariat. The deck is about 18 months old and I pulled it out of my last truck, its just been sitting there on the shelf. Here is the question I am missing the 16pin harness for it, anyone know where I can locate another one and what exactly I may be looking for. I also would like to be able to hook up the steering wheel controls to this deck, think its possible and what would I need. Thanks.

for the harness, your best best is probably to contact clarion directly..... and, yes, it is possible to hook up the steering wheel controller to an aftermarket unit, BUT.... you will need a SWIX controller. you have to wire it in between the clockspring on the steering wheel and the radio itself. you will program the buttons with the new radio's remote. basically, the SWIX controller will "learn" the remote signal, and send that signal to the radio when you push the button on the sw.
