power tuner
I have an 08 f-150 x-cab fx4. I get decent fuel mileage, but the 5.4 is a dog. I have read that a power tuner is a good choice to make the 5.4 wake up. So, here is a list of my ?'s regarding a tuner.
What kind should i get at a resonable price?
How much more power will i get?
Will it affect my fuel mileage?
Will it do any harm to my engine?
How difficult are they to use?

Well I got mine from Mike from 5 star tunning. Great guy and very reasonable and great customer service. Best I have ever seen from any company. I dont remeber the exact price but I wana say it was 350 or so. I dont think it was more than that. I got custom tunes with the 87 Economy, 91 performance, and 91 tow. They are all great and help out with mileage. Its only like a mile or two but still helps. The performance setting wakes the truck up alot. I havent heard or have had any problems with it doing any harm to the engine. As difficulty a monkey can do it. You plug it in to the OBD-II plug under the dash let it turn on follow the directions on screen. You click install tune then you chose either custom or preload. I got custom so then you click on the setting you want. Say you want 91 performance you click that and it gives you options to change settings like tire size shift press. rev limit, speed limit, stuff like that. They are really easy and I would recomend the custom tunes. Give mike a message on here. He should be around but he has been busy. I highly recomend him

I ordered a Superchips Flashpack 1815 from Strippermotorsports.com (866-706-7744) and the service was excellent! Including shipping the price was $365. They also carry other brands and were very helpful on the phone responding to questions, etc. which was much more than the other retailers were even willing to do!
