The van, was a compromise, I needed that body style for dragging along my tools and stuff while working aviation contract jobs.
I didn't want the larger box bodies, as they were too big for my needs and a hog on fuel for an everyday driver.
Because I bought the Demo, as that was the quickest and least expensive way to get the diesel I had to accept the fact that it was equipped with the Plasboard floor.
At the time I didn't suspect that my tool box was that heavy and just kept an eye on the flooring.
After a few weeks of the tool box sitting in one spot (no work) I noticed the floor was caving in.
So just like beefing up our engines and transmissions, I'm going to beef up my floor.
I wonder if that tool box would have dished a metal floor in a 'regular' van or pickup truck?
i hope nobody is working on a roof today...pretty windy!
pete - black and green is an awesome look, makes me want to go sledding (arctic cat). the only issue is that im trying to keep brighter colors on the tins because i want to be seen. also, black is overplayed on bikes.
i bought 2 - 50 cal. ammo cans on ebay for $8, im waiting for them to show up. one is going to house the battery and electronics, the other will be a "saddle bag".

If you want to be bright you could always go with bright green tins and a black frame.
