Thanks everyone, I used my mobile to post the thread....UPDATE.....USAA covered half the towing costs, luckily I was only 50 miles from home on a 300+ mile trip. The truck was running so sweeet too, smoked a duramax and a Hemi on the drive home. Problem, what the hell happened! the Torque converter???? Its late and Im tired, Thanks everyone!
The 99 TC were the ones that rattled so bad, I know, Mine rattled right up to the time I replaced it fearing it would fail as yours did. Probably the TC or Seal. Hopefully you can get away with just replacing those and no damage was done to the rest of the tranny. Sorry no one was online to help. I'm sure someone lives out that way that would have helped had they known. Glad your home safe.
I just seen the thread sorry I didn't see it sooner. Although I dont htink my jeep could have towd you in and my 7.3 converted its self to a boat anchor.
