chewed vacuum line

I have a 2000 f350 10 cyl --My heat and air will work but wont cycle from floor to dash( its stuck on defrost vents--that was the last position it was left on when it worked). I went to look under the hood to see if I could see something-- when I opened the hood there was a rabbit resting on the battery ?????? I think we both startled each other. It ran towards the window and down back into the engine. I took a break and came back and he was coming back up---so i started it and drove around the driveway -then I parked it in the garage--now I probably have a rabbit in the garage. Well he chewed some tube insulation as far as i can tell. But the vacuum lines right next to where he was sitting are done. I want to add a small section of tube to fix it but don't know if there are any sort of complications I need to think about. Im thankful that he didn't chew through the wires ( I hear that cam be very expensive. Thanks.....

I busted a vaccum line line when doing EGR work on an Explorer. I used a piece of silicone fuel tubing that I had laying around used in glow fuel powered r/c vehcicles. I used 1/8" ID tubing but you vaccum line may be different.

Might want to put a bowl with carrots and Parsley near your truck so the rabbit eats that instead of your truck.
