Yeah old school! I run a pulley slightly larger than the body of the pump and it's adequate at idle. I'd had trouble with slowness and even no pressure at idle but that went away when I replaced the pump. I have the round Fisher pump unit.

Right after I read this, I looked out the window and we had about 1/2" of snow, but the precip had already turned to sleet.
So I hit the rack incase I had to plow this morning, but when I got up to check the only thing we had was ice.
MUD? It was -31c here last night.... It's been a lackluster snow year here, because it's been too cold, not too warm. I've had to plow my route maybe 10 times total so far...
