Transmission cooler

95 f350 7.3 psd 4:10 auto.
Towing 6000lb travel trailer.Would the long true cool mod 4590 be a good choice. thanks Jim

I use this one. Its more than enough but with the thermal bypass it doesn't over cool.
eBay Motors: TRANSMISSION COOLER HD 40,000 GVW TOW TOWING TRU-COOL (item 7999761123 end time Mar-02-09 16:00:00 PST)

That is also the best place to buy one as they seem to have the best price that I have found.

Yep, it's rated for 28K GVW. You are around 14K GVW w/ a 6K load
Be sure to keep the radiator cooler inline with it or it will run too cold in the winter months IMO.

PS: The one you listed should be fine as well if you one a tight budget.

Thanks TJ and Jim, The temp. here usually doesnt get below about 28 to 30 deg.Do you think it might be a problem with getting to cold. Jim

You will probably be fine but at the same time that bypass valve is available by itself. Before I ran the 4739 with bypass I had a larger than stock cooler but not as good as the 4590 and I didn't have an issue here in Michigan.

I forgot which cooler I have but its made by tru-cool and its huge. In the winter months I dont see over 150* driving unloaded. When loaded it peaks at 170*
