EQUALIZER EXHAUST PIPE

Can I put an equalizer exhaust pipe on my 2001 Lightning? Is it safe and would it add some horsepower and would it also gives a nice tone with my flowmaster exhaust?

EQUALIZER EXHAUST PIPE

In many cases you'll trigger the check engine light because of the O2 sensors with an H or X pipe. This would require chipping it to turn the light off.

Thanks for the reply. I decided to have it done anyway, but it turned out that the O2 sensor did not trigger the engine light to light up. This is good news...not only that but it added a few horsepower..I noticed it's got more flow and it shift the gear quicker and smoother..."Pay it Forward".....I appreciate all the quick response to all of us out here who is into trucks...
