Consumer Reports chose the Chevrolet Avalanche as the best pick-up truck. They said Ford had made progress but they are saddled with old pick-up trucks.
They also chose the Hyundai Elantra as the best small car.
im suprised they even picked a chevy, everytime i pick one up the say honda this or toyota that! i agree that even when ford builds the best they still dont pick them ... id like to see a time when they did pick a ford truck/car. they probaly even rip on the fusion and say buy a camry ! up yours consumer reports, you sell out of a magizine
Lol Consumer Reports. They are a joke if i have ever seen one. Wouldnt listen to a thing they say to be honest. Be it a car, truck, cell phone or tv. If anyone is silly enough to listen to them then it's their fault. My bro in laws buisness partner just bought one and it aint a spot on the 09 f150 in anyway at all.
Consumer reports are so ridicoulous. They try to put society as a whole while looking at products for them to buy. Its like a jump on the band wagon approach to things. Its all BS to me. This is the stuff that gives people a false sense of advertising on the good products companies sell.
Probably figured they needed to win at least one award in their exsitance since they may not be around for long, at least not the gmc of today. heard they want anouther 30 mill from us to stay in buisness.
2.....alot of people don't however.....as a part time job i sell appliances and i'd bet 30 percent or more of people use consumer reports as a bible...
3.....last year when consumer reports rated ford so well everyone on here was all over that saying they've finally come around.....
4.....avalanche's tow 8100 lbs.....
5.....they actually are really nice trucks.....they're on a full frame...
6......to anyone who hasn't driven a Hyundai genesis.........its a damn nice car for the money.....
They probably like the soft ride of the coil springs, but truck buyers want capability.
CR, like C&D, just doesn't get it.
Most likely would have picked the Dodge then. All though, it may be to early for them/not a large enough sample size to give a full opinion on the Ford and RAM
