Help...and some VENTING

hey guys...
i was having a vibration/miss at low rpms and assumed a cop and plug...took it to my mechanic and we couldnt figure out the cylinder...V10 and no CEL. he suggested ford. i took it there and they could not find the exact cylinder, but did a tendency test? and said the 4 of the 10 had a "tendency" to misfire. OK...700+ for 4 cops and 4 plugs...OUTRAGIOUS. placed a call to summit for 10 accel coils and 10 plugs...289 shipped to my house. hopefully this fixes the problem.
Now after all this the truck will not miss under any conditions. I drove it home from the dealership...no miss, drove it to work...no miss. It is CRAZY.
Here is the help part...
i put new pads on the truck sunday...Hawk Super Duty pads. i didnt get rotors, but the mechanic who drove the truck said there is a terrible brake pulsation. i told him about the pads and he said to get the rotors cut or i would ruin the pads. is this true? is it worth getting them cut or would new ones be better?
thanks alot

It is always best to cut/resurface the rotors when installing new pads. Even if all your doing it cleaning up the surface. It allows the pad & rotor to "form" to each other better.

Let us know how the Accel COPs work out. They don't have the highest reputation for longevity here. They look nice, though.
