Well while changing filters today I found fuel in the valley. Assuming it's the pump weeping it's only a matter of time before it's coming out. The question is what is going back in....
All the talk about beans and CPR fuel systems are great but the price is the big down fall. I thought I saw a thread a bit back about the items needed for a DIY electric pump swap but I can't find it.
Thanks!
I went with a FASS system from Diesel Innovations and I love it. Lots of fuel and much bigger fuel lines. I have all that I need and much much more

About the stock fuel lines, I was going to utilize the stock lines from tank to motor, just tap into them with my new pump/filters. I dont plan on ever going bigger than stage 2's. Can the stock lines support that?
Stock fuel system and lift pump will support 550rwhp, so yes I'd say you'd be ok to run them with a set of 2's. You'll have to mod the line ends to get them to work properly for your system. A set of compression fittings should do the trick. I went for greed with the FASS system on my truck

I take it you ran that on one tank only?
I'm a fan of mech pumps. Glad to hear to hear the top end on the stock system...
Yes, it draws off the front tank with a pickup tube and a -10an line. The rear tank I modded to dump into the front tank with a little 12v transfer pump from autozone. The system works really well. I ditched the factory lines, tank selector valve, and filter bowl and regulator. I love the new system
