emission bypass
I have a 92 f-150 4.9 mtx. I ran true daull catless, I bypassed my o2 pump and pluged the vacume lines. I want to get my check engine light off is there any way to jump some wires to bypass the egr and the o2 sensor. I also want some input on what I can do for an intake. I want to make some thing my self has any one done that on the 4.9 I want something made not K&N or the likes. Please give me ideas if you got them.

it's not recomended but you could pull the gauge cluster out and just pull the bulb for the check engine light, that's what i did but i switched to a carb so my computer just sits there i dont think it does anything...

I seen something on E bay... They make egr block off kits that comes with a plug that sends a message back to the computer telling it everthing is cool ... I dont know if they make it for the 4.9 ?? & i dont know if there any good .. I blocked mine off but went into the computer with a chip & had it removed...& yes dont unplug your 02 sensor.. Your truck will not like it very much... It would probably go into open loop... safe mode... Lew
