systems description
I'm looking for the systems description of the device which controls the door locks. . . key switch. . . dome lights. . . radio. . . There is some really goofy stuff going on with this truck. now the power locks don't work at all. Does anybody know if the door ajar switch is located in the latch mechanism? I'm sure it does as it looks like to me thats the only place for it to be. Trying to fix one problem. . . where the door ajar light stays on all the time. . . and the dome lights don't ever work when opening and closing a door. On the extended cabs like this one. . . is that switch in the rear door?

start by looking for anything wet under the dash.
.i had problems with windows before and it turned out to be the harnes in the boot between the door and door post..a wire had broke..might check that too..
