i'm looking to do something to the front end of my truck to make it look better someone suggested clear corner head lights and i was wondering if anyone had these if they could post some pics
i was thinking a brushgaurd don't know to go with chrome or black, i kinda like black cause you can repaint it where as with chrome if it starts to rust you have to get it rechromed
maybe a aftermarket grill? i have some stainless steel chicken wire that i have put behind the grills on other vehicles to make them look better do you think that would make this grill look better
i am getting some 5.0 mustang decales to put on the side to cover up the holes where f-150 used to be, the badges broke off at the paint shop when they took them off or maybe i'll get some that say 302 with high performance underneith 302 idk what do you guys think
i'd love to see some pics of what you guys with the older version of these trucks have done here is mine almost as it sits now (only exterior mod since has been spray on bedliner)
yeah i wish i had gotten a cowl hood on my truck but i was in the hospital on morphine when it got painted so i wasn't in the state of mind to ask to get a cowl hood put on, maybe i could take it back to the paint shop and see how much one would be
and about how much was it to get your truck painted to that and whats the color?
id like mine to have that color it looks sharp, my dad had one jst like it
i just looked on ebay and couldn't find any clear corners...
it was 1800 for anyone else but i know the guy personally and paid cash so i got it done for 1600 it is the stock factory color, kinda wish i got some metallic chips in it
cowl hood, some different rims, clear head lights, euro taillights, brush guard, billet grille, chrome nerf bars, wind sheild visor with lights in it,u can get clear turn signals and euro lights from LMC
i was looking at the billet grills and i'm not sure i like any of the ones i have seen so far i really don't like the windshield visors too much but i could do some clearance lights that might look good and i definatly don't like the euro taillights lol
i have been thinking about some rims but for the price of a nice set of rims i could almost pay for some aluminum heads for the motor or a 347 kit...
maybe i could paint the stock rims black or bedliner them and leave the chrome trim rings on them?
i think i'm gona get some window tints, how hard is it to remove the chrome around the windshield? that might look nice painted black
i have a friend who is going to do some airbrushing on the tailgate for the price of supplies i was going to have him airbrush in the FORD letters with probably white paint and have him just outline them with maybe a 3/8ths line so they stand out
window tint is great, the rims would look good black, but the trim i would leave chrome, you dont want too much black cause u have a dark colored truck, the air brushing would look nice too
Also, the billet grilles for 87-91 and 92-96 look like crap. The 80-96 billet or bar grilles look good. The reason they don't look good on the newer trucks is because there is nothing to surround it.
I think the clear corners would look awesome, but not the diamond or cyrstal clear like the tuner crap. They just don't look right on anything older than the 97 body style. I mean the style that match the headlights. I have them on my truck.
