2005 Cruise Control Issue....maybe??
I work on an Army installation and the Speed ***** are serious about their posted limits. I set the cruise at 35mph the moment I pass through the security gate. At one point, I use the DECREASE button to lower the speed to 25mph. Somewhere between 35 and 25mph, then engine COMPLETELY stalls. My previous experiences with a variety of other cars is that the cruise simple disengages....NOT shut down the motor. The steering and brakes don't work as well without the motor running...
Is this normal?
