Does anyone have a pic of 17 wheels with 285/70/17's with this tire or something similar. I have a leveling kit but was curious how this tire would look. Thanks
I have them on 18's with leveling kit but man i hate these tires. I have had my truck in 4wd so much this winter cuz the traction stunk..... and they are brand new...
My buddy had them on his Screw and hated them also. I mean 2inches of snow and it was like driving on an ice rink.. goodyear AT/s are the way to go. We have them on our Ambulance and 1ton Rescue Rig and they have been great tires in the wet and snow..
I highly recommend the Goodyear Silent Armor. Got them on my SUV in a 265/70/17 (32") and I love them...a set of 4 cost me $865 in Hawaii money...so about $600 on the Mainland.
nice firm grip, and quiet...I kinda miss not being able to do 4 wheel burnouts though...the Goodyear Wranlger RS/A tires they replaces were crappy
please forgive the goat symbol
edit: I might actually get a set of these for my F-150 if I can find them in a 34/35"...pretty good quality and good price
hate to hear that. im not sure what brand to go with that has a mildly aggresive look but no to expensive.
Look at the General Grabber AT2s. I have a set of 255/70/17s and really like them. They also come in 265/70/17. I paid about $640 tax & mounted. I have some pics in my gallery.
I have the destinations on my truck, i cant really say anything bad about them. They are wearing well, and seem to provide adequate traction in the snow and the rain. My truck is 2WD and i dont drive off road with them and i dont think that they really made to be off road tires. Overall i would buy them again and i replaced the Hankooks that came on my truck with them. Dont get me started on those hankooks, only lasted 30,000 miles and were noisy. I noticed a big difference once i put the Firestones on. So far the firestones have about 25,000 miles on them and they still are doing the job.
