6.0 Intercooler
Is the 6.0 Intercooler a drop-in replacement for the 7.3? While my engine was out, we found the intercooler has a leak and I want to replace it with a 6.0 version (which is even cheaper than the 7.3) but the mechanic mentioned he wasn't sure it would fit in every case. Has anyone tried and it not worked and is there anything else that needs to be purchased in order to make it work?

If you have an automatic you might have to move the tranny cooler up a bit. Not a big deal. Here is a write-up I did when I did the swap, it has a parts list included. Hope this helps!
