Im new to the truck world and have always wanted one. Well id like to think i got lucky by landing an 86 F 150 with a 302 Windsor v8! Its very nice still and looks pretty much new! It has alot of miles on it (in the 403,000s area) but to tell you the truth, after a good old oil and filter change and a Z max fuel treatment, it runs smooth as hell... have any of you herd of a 302 v8 engine lasting this long and still good????

I have almost 290k on mine, still runs great, gotta do a WP now, but hell I think thats only been changed once. I'm the third owner of the truck, and I know the first two.
I had a 302 in a 73 f 100 that went well over 300,000 & worked well. I now have a 91 f150 with a 302 efi with 88,000 that I'm hoping will do the same. If they have been maintained & not thrashed on to bad they will go a long ways.
I can't say much, mine has 123,xxx miles. Got it with 109,xxx miles. It was a cattle hauling, tractor moving farm truck, and now it's a wood hauling, vehicle towing, 'stock' mudding truck. Sees 5k RPM a.. lot.
A few times, the pedal got stuck when I went to shift (fixed that) and the damn thing still runs the same. I know they like to wind out easy, I just hope mine takes it. I change the oil frequently.
