glow plugs are about 30 minutes unless someone has installed other than Motorcraft beru plugs, just remove valve covers remove wires from glow plugs, spray base of plugs with carb cleaner to rinse the oil away and then blow with air to dry the carb cleaner( you don't want any liquid in the glow plug hole or you will hydraulic your engine and bend the rods). remove plugs install new ones. check valve cover wiring harness at all connections for burnt wires and burnt plugs. if none are burnt re install.

as for the bb mod it is put under the spring of the fuel pressure regulator A couple guys have pics of it and hopefully they will show up soon and post them up. a note when installing the bb clean the spring with brake cleaner or carb cleaner and dry it with light air than stick some Vaseline on the end of the spring to make the bb stick to the spring, this way you know it makes it in the right spot.

It is located on the side of the drivers side of fuel filter towards the front. Its a cylinder looking device, unscrew it and the spring is behind it. Put the BB hehind the spring like helifexer said. Helifexer, if you can change GP's in 30 minutes then your an excellent wrencher!!

33 years wrenching, 15 on helicopters. after working on helicopters these trucks are wide open and easy to work on. helicopters aren't. for example front engine mount bolt on a bell 412 up to 12 hours for a mechanic to install! and you almost always pull the twin pack so that means 2 mechanics for 12 hours, on on each side.

WoW, I'm impressed! To do the GP's woud take me a couple of hours. It's like that sign that hang's in my mother-in-laws kitchen. I'm not a fast cook, I'm not a slow cook, I'm a half fast cook.

stroked guy, dont worry about setting time records. take your time with the gp's. if they start to bind up while you are unscrewing them,, STOP!!!! spray with with your favorite loose juice. then proceed. not trying to scare ya about tackling this project, but just want others to learn from my gp mistakes. good luck

Defiantly heed Gobstoper909's advice on taking your time. a stuck plug and being in a hurry makes for a long project (removing head to get broken glow plug out). I go fast until it comes time to pull the glow plugs than it is slow and easy.

If you are wondering about the signatures just look where it says welcome, username, go straight over to the left side of the window, down a little and click on 'User CP'. this is the user control panel. you can adjust and modify your browsing experience from the link. on the left side of the window after you click and the next page loads there is a menu, and a link called 'Edit my Signature' or something along those lines.

Oh yeah welcome to ...
