best chili yet

just threw together what might be my best chili yet!
6 lbs hamburger (lean, from last steer I butchered) smoked with cherry wood for 4 hours @ 180 F
2 large onions diced
6 clove garlic minced
3 Table spoons chili powder
3 chipolet jalapeno peppers minced
6 cans kidney beans drained
8 cans diced stewed tomatoes
2 cans beef broth
salt to taste

after smoking the carnage, put into 14 Quart dutch oven over med heat, add onions, garlic, chili powder simmer until onions are translucent, add remaining ingredients simmer for a couple hours on low heat.
to make it even better ad 1 can of beer when adding the other ingredients, I don't add the beer cause there isn't any at my house and I didn't feel like going to get one.

back in my drinking days I would buy it in a 30 pack knowing I needed one for the chili and the rest had a expiration date.

experation dates are a waste of time , effort and money on a beer. never found one that was old yet but i trudge on in the quest.

while good ole h.b. is ok ,I prefer moose or elk in a chilli. usually some cubed roast chunks.
