Bizzarr electrical issues
Best as described to me. . .
02 auto. . . door ajar light has been on for some time now. Therefor issues with radio turning off. . . dome lights and the likes. Not sure if that issue is related to the most recent. Driver says "while driving sometimes lights on the dash will flicker. . . sounds like a relay underneath is clicking. . . will often kill the motor. Sometimes the motor won't die. . . but it seems the guages quit working or at least very unreliable. . . they jump around and the throttle doesn't respond. Just idles. Had to cycle the key to get things working again."
I havn't looked any closer than pulling codes which i'll display below. . . but this looks like a relay or power to a relay going bad. What do you guys think? Many of the codes are related to cruisecontrol, throttle B switch, parking brake switch. . . . stuff like that. Really random. So here are the codes that appeared after a KOER switch test:
P1536, P0220, P1780, P0571, P0703, P0565, P0566, P0567, P0568, P0569.
Here are the general diag codes shown:
P0381, P0500, P0470.
So. . . what do you guys think?

I'd check for a loose ground Timmy. The symptoms sound like a ground that is faltering. If it wasn't for the engine almost dying Id look at the VSM some of the symptoms point to that except for the engine issue.
