Next week I think I am going to bite the bullet and get a dp tuner. I currently have the edge evo and am happy with it but from everythin I have heard I can get more, and more is better. My truck has 187,000 and some miles on it cold air intake, exhaust. Is there anything else I should do before I get this? My evo has the gauges that I need and will still run it for the gauges. Oh the tunes I want to get are no start,stock, 80 tow, 80 econo, 140 agressive, and drive thru. what do you guys think.
depends on what you tow... talk to Jody and he will recommend the correct tow tune for you... other than that, sounds good... welcome to the darkside veryyyy soon
Deven, you have some good advise so far. If you tow, I would consider getting a lower tune, like 60t. The Edge will read off the PCM, you might need to get the OBA and the WW. Then the Edge will not read the true boost. But boost is not as important as EGT and trans temp.
I don't tow often at all I am getting ready to tow my wifes truck from washington state to nebraska and that is probably the biggest towing for quite awhile. I have a wicked wheel on order been on order for bout a month but it is suppose to ship mid march thanks guys.

Except for the Edge Evo, I am in your same shoes. Same year model and mileage too. I am hoping to call Jody in the next few weeks.
