So it turns out my leak was my turbo about to gernade, had about 1/2" of play. so now im in need of a turbo im not sure what i want to do because im not looking to spend a whole ton of money but want to do it write. what do you guys think of the d66?
I bought a 1.00 A/R new unit from Ron Holland for $550. It was new so I was okay with spending the money. It also comes with a warranty. If your exhaust turbine is okay, you can get $110 back for the core. Mine was trashed. The downside of the new unit is the bolt hole for the EBPV harness hold down needed to be tapped.
His ebay name is Johnsmith04 or something like that.
I certainly wouldn't put another stock turbo back on their. It won't like the stage 1's. My stocker lasted 3 months with BDP 1's. At the time there was no D66 so I ended up with the H2E. I don't know what the current price is for the 66 but I do know of one truck that recently put dowm 529/1220 with one.
lazer, my brother just got a d66 and he loves it. hes got stage 1's and couldnt see spending 600 for a stock one thatll last 6months... if your lucky...
for $1150 you get a decent drop in that beans will warranty for a year
ya that is kinda what i was thinking. Im going to call beans today and see what they can do, im also going to see if they will take 2 cores. Thanks alot guys im in a perdicament because i cant efford to miss another snow storm
