I just fixed a customers Iphone email problem.. He could recieve mail, but could not send..

Have you contacted Alltel??
Maybe they did a software update or have some bad equipment..

My POS blackberry is thru the rogers network, and I have experienced the same issue from time to time, amongst a slew of other issues, like freezing up, Shuts down for no apparent reason, as well as the battery saying it's fully charged then all of a sudden, it flashes the low battery flag and shuts down, reboot and it's fine.....
Only a matter of time till I bury it in a footing or a wall somewhere

I have to say the blackberry works WORLDS better than the 4 palm treos i had before it......but that said its annoying me right now...
I called alltel but I think i'll be calling again tommorow

What phone/software are you running? I have an 8830 alltel phone with 4.5.0.127. I had issues with 4.5.0.101 and this .127 just leaked last week. You may want to do the upgrade.

I did get an email today from blackberry that there is new software available.....maybe i'll try that first

Well other than the irritating Battery issue, it seems like quite the weapon, this thing is way more advanced than I will ever be. We got a bunch of these things on a Plan for the Operators and office staff and seems I'm the only one having these problems, I never owned anything like it, so it very well could just be an Operator issue rather than a Product issue.
One other issue I have is the location of the Voice Command button, every time I pull it out of the holster or pick it up I hit the Voice Command button then I'm greeted by a pleasant voice who says " Say a Command ", it took me about an hour of owning it before that became an irritant.
It's now to the point where that pleasant voice has been subjected to so many unrecognizable Commands that I have probably created a vocabulary for it and wouldn't surprise me if it started saying them back to me.

Go to Options.....(the wrench)
Go to Screen/keyboard.....
Go to the Right/left side convinence keys...and you can either change it to something else or change it to nothing.....
By the way...this is for a curve or world edition....what model do you have?
