I can truly tell you if any machined head were going to blow again I would have already done it. I see no one mention they checked the block, you should also consider this when doing the repair.

i stand corrected. im just saying it could happen cause higher pressure does cause the bolts to stretch with the head lifting. but yeah your right.

I see your point Wyatt if using torque to yield bolts, I recommend and know this isn't possible on all dealer repairs, head studs.

For any do-it-yourself, buy the studs.

yep yep what he said. ^^^^

sometimes ill recommend them sometimes i wont. it all depends on the customer. if i think hes going to take the studs to far and go with more mods such as a chip cause hes over excited then i wont say anything. but ill say yes for a work truck that needs it if the guy or gal has a good head on his shoulders. cause if they get over excited ill just see the truck in within the next couple of months cause he or she put too much extra money into it in all the wrong places you know?

Those torque to yield bolts make great paper weights.

yep they make good fanny scratchers when you cant figgure a truck out too. lol
