New Ford racing engine........
Speedway magazine has a writeup on the new Ford FR9 racing engine. They are expecting great things from the engine. The engine will be phased in by the end of the year, barring no major problems.
Kudos to Roush Racing for taking an old 351w engine design and kicking Chevy, Toyota, and Dodges butt, with their high tech racing engines (that Chevy is on the 2nd design) twice in a row.

Ford was do for a new engine as they haven't had one since 91. Doug Yates is a master at squeezing out hp from ford engines. It hasn't helped Yates racing lately, but Roush has enjoyed the benifits as they all work together.
