I hate to ask questions that have already been answered in another forum, but after countless searches I cannot find a good answer/picture. I am looking for the relay/wire that runs from the factory switch on my dashboard (headlight switch, pull OUT to turn on fogs) and goes through the engine bay and to the actual foglights themselves. I purchased my truck used, the fog lights are there but NO WIRE actually going to them. Im assuming aftermarket lights were used, then replaced with factory before selling the truck. And help would be appreciated and pictures would be very helpful! BTW, my vehicle is a Canadian truck with Daytime running lights, and when I do finally get these things hooked up to the factory switch, I will want to get around the high beam/no fog problem.
As a side question, how come I cannot view the for sale forum?
There is a small harness on the driver side of the truck in the engine compartment. It is a simple 2 prong connector. I cannot remember exactly where it is but I found it underneath the truck.
My truck came without foglights and the harness was there along with the relay. All I had to do is replace the headlight switch with the one that pulls out for fogs. I then connected the fogs to the already run wireharness in the engine compartment and I was done.
If you still need this info, let me know, and I will get under mine and locate it again. Maybe take a picture.
