F T E member in need of thoughts and prayers
Today i was on phone with Jim "Megawatt00'' and in passing he told me he is having surgery. It is in Mass not in Fla with family. It is pretty serious ,but not the big C which i was glad to hear!!!! It will be done on wed Feb 24th. Jim seems to be a great guy who it seems is a large part of F T E and even a moderator. I told him he would have my thoughts and prayers and i hope many of yours!!!!!!!!!!!! He said he would call me when back home. I know some of you are real close to him and maybe know ,but some may not know and would like to. Jim i hope this wont upset you , but the POWER OF PRAYER is great . I'm sure you will get many my friend . Just thought everyone should know. GOOD LUCK JIM !!!!!!!!

Sam I'll never tell you a secret again...Just kidding.
Ok this is what is going on. Last October I got hurt at work. At first the Dr.at the hospital, Yes Neil St. Lukes said it was just a hernia. I had some times of being in such pain that I had to go to the emegency room. This time I went to Tobey Hospital, they told me that it wasn't a hernia it is a rupture of the abdominum. The intestine is protuding and starting to twist, as it does this it is pushing on some nerves causing pain and twitching in my right leg. I went to see a surgeon and he want's to operate this Wed. He told me flat out that this has to be done asap. If the intestine twists it could either rupture or "strangle" itself and I could die from it. The surgery should take care of that. I am probably facing nerve damage in my leg though.
On top of all of it the ins co had been giving me a hard time about the surgery. That's one of the reason's why I put it off. Not the brightest thing on my part.
I feel bad about not letting you guys know what is going on. I apologize to the few that did know for not telling you the severity of it. It's just that with all the bad luck that I have run into lately well I'm sure that you understand.
Thank you all for your well wishes, thoughts and prayers. Most importantly your friendship.
