Just finished up doing the 6637 filter mod on my truck. What a huge difference in how the truck feels. I ended up just using the PVC coupler that i had in my garage and happened to fit, got pretty lucky there. I had the "woosh" with my airraid system, but is significantly louder now. Very happy with it! Thanks everyone for the tips and advice
Congratulations Matt. What was up with the Airaid?
The airraid filter was all dirty and clogged up. Instead of getting a new filter for that, i bought the 6637 and i'm sending the airraid out to Pete, he was asking for certain filters to make models of, so he's getting mine old filter and i'm getting a cover from him. Thanks again Pete. But nothing was wrong with the system i have just heard good things about the 6637 so i figured i'de give it a try.
Getting ready to do the 6637 mod myself. I got the filter from Fleet last week and got a piece of 4" exhaust to use, but just haven't had time to do the switch. I can pull the stock box and throw the old POJ fram in the trash and be ready to go.

You'll love the difference. Kind of weird, i was just at a conference with a guy from Manhattan, KS.
Boy i just got home and as i was leaving base i stomped on the pedal a little bit and noticed two things: 1) The truck picked up a lot better and feels like it's getting a lot more air, which was expected 2) I was blowing more smoke.
OK, Kansas State University has a bunch of folks involve in the Ed. side of that along with all the other local possibilities for someone to be attending.
I am going to install the 6637 as my first mod, but would like to get one of Pete's filter covers too. I have searched and come up with nothing. Where/how do I get one of Pete's filter covers?
