You will need a 4" od 45degree ell and 1 4"clamp. I used a 3" id pvc ell which is 4" od on my truck works lake a charm though not a pretty as a mandrel bent 4" od steel one but it gets the job done.

Sometimes you can get a piece of 4" bent at 45° at Pep Boys or similiar store. My brother got his there and polished stainless.

Also interested in doing this, what is the actual NAPA part #? Or is it just 6637?

If it is shorter than that it will be fine. Just as long as you can get a clamp and hose/filter on each end and clamp it.

Get a 3" PVC 45° elbow from Lowes or Home Depot. That will get you there and if you want to clean it up later you can get a steel one.

The PVC from lowes is what I used. If you paint the elbow black it will look a lot better than white PVC stickin out of the black tube.

And reading your first post I wasnt sure if you knew but I am stating the obvious. The entire stock filter housing gets removed. Tuck the air temp sensor that comes off the housing into your fender well.

thanks kevin. you wouldnt happen to have any pitchures of what you did with yours?ive seen a couple pitchures and i dont see any elbow's or 45 degree pipes at all.the ones ive seen just look like a small piece of 4" pipe coming off the filter into the black tube. thanks again
