I ended up purchasing a new model, the Innova 3160, which is the scan tool with ABS ability built in. After dealing with computers I was leary of upgrading software. Price was great and it looks very simple to operate. I have not really used it yet, as the advise on the VSS given earlier fixed my ABS problem. I have a 99 Kia I need to scan but my daughter has been driving it and I have not had a chance to check it out. Bootom Line- looks like a quality product that is easy to use and the software which came with it appears to have info on any code you could possibly come across, but so far I have not put it to the test. I did attach it to my van but there were no codes(which I expected). I play around a bit with the live data and it was reading all of that. Sorry I cant be of more help. I do think it will be well worth the $279 I paid in the long run.
