Fuel Line Stuck

I'm in the process of replacing the fuel line on an 02 7.3 and I can not get the large one to detach with my quick release tools. I've bought 3 different tools...an aluminum one, and two different plastic one's as well. It is a 3/8 if memory serves correctly. The line has an odd bend right where it goes into the female end. Anyone dealt with this and have suggestions other than keep trying?

Where are you talking about? I don't remember bends.

I've done the fuel tank and that went fine...sorry I did not specify. I am disconnecting the fuel line earlier in the system...under the alternator and the plate there is a disconect and that is where I'm trying to get it undone. The fuel tank disconnect was easy, this one is not so much.
