its a dual purpose truck that will be on the mountain and on the road that shouldent see extreme terain but fairly rough terrain. It will be used to haul wood also. It has 351W, 4 speed manual, regular cab, leaf springs front and back. By the way i was thinking of 6'' lift and 35'' or 36'' tires how does that soud to you. thanks to both on the quick response.

go through it and replace the bearings, ujoints, grease everything.....make sure your regular maintenance items are in excellent shape. you dont want to start beating on a part thats already worn out.

since your in the mountains a lift and big tires is a good idea to crawl over logs on the trail but out there a winch is a must but a locker is probably the single best upgrade you can do to a truck
