I used a similar product...the name escapes me.... on the bed of a rusted Chev Van. It did turn the rust into a paintable surface and I never had another problem with it. It was not rusted through before I found it, and never did after I used the stuff. Waited a few weeks and rattle can painted the surface and reinstalled the rubber mat after it dried. Stopped the rust cold.
Had a lot left and brushed it on a number of things after that.... rusted tools and other stuff around the house. I liked it, but the surfaces were never "pretty" again. To be fair, I didn't try to make 'em "pretty" either.

Yea ... I am not too concerned with the "pretty factor" either ... I am thinking about using some sort rust treatment on the Wagoneer and then after I have the entire thing done I am going to spray bedliner on the entire Jeep. I am planning on just using it as a Rig to take into the National Forest and just want to stop the surface rust so I never have to worry about it again.
