chopped&dropped owns this truck, and I am trying to find out who makes the wheels that he has so I can get a new set. I've probably looked at 2000 wheels from a dozen manufacturers, and none are even close.
They are chrome steel and look to me like a combination of bullet hole and "smoothie" or rally...if you know who makes them (and better still what they are called) PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I love these things!
Thanks, chopped. AR was the first place I looked, but I suppose they don't carry them anymore.
The only chrome steel wheels anyone seems to have like this are two styles-
"dished in" from the outside of the rim, rather than "domed out" from the inside of the rim like these
OR
straight up and down, like Weld Draglites.
I'll keep looking for new ones...probably N.O.S. now...but if you are interested in selling yours, keep me in mind. Even if I find a new set, it'll be nice to have spares.
And if anyone else out there knows of another company that might make these, or if you happen to find an old part number, please enlighten me!
If anyone knows a place that has them in 15x7 (2) and 15x8 or 9 (2), obviously in 5 on 5.5 pattern, I'd appreciate a heads-up. The company does not make them anymore. New is good, but used in good shape is better.
I've got a few hundred bucks that are burning a hole in my pocket. But only a few.
