What else could it be... please help

I have already searched... and nothing helped. I had the same problem as many when the alternator went out. The ABS light came on readio flashed gauges died then motor died minutes later. So i replaced the alternator charged the batteries started and ran fine. driving around then it does the same thing radio flash gauges die then motor dies... what else is my problem of do i need to remove the alternator and test the new one... please help with what i should do next. Thank you

you sure it was your alternator? might be you batts are shot, charge them again, and see if the truck starts normally, than check if you have 14.4 or so volts on the batts when the truck is running. if you do run it for few min, shut the truck down , take the kays out and check Volts on the batts, if below 12v you might have bad batteries. make sure replace the both at the same time, or just got somwhere and have them load tested.

You might want to take the batteries out 1st and have them load tested. People have been reporting FICM failures lately (assumption)from running on low voltage.

Look at the wire 6ga on the 6mm post on the passenger side pos. battery term. if it's corroded, that's your problem.
