302 explorer

i have a 1970 f100 4X4 with a all stock 1996 explorer 302 and a zf 5 speed transmission and was wondering if i changed from the stock explorer headers to stock mustang headers or to some bbk equal lenght headers would i be able to tell a difference. what other upgrades could i do to help add power to my truck

stock mustang headers suck, you would be lucky to get your pinky in the tube. I would get some longtubes, you won't go wrong.

i have some bbk equal lenghts that i am not using and was wondering if it would be worth the work to put them on

The BBK's are much better if you have the room to connect the exhaust, just be aware they probably won't bolt up to the head pipes you have now, the header dumps are positioned differently and at a differernt angle on the stangs.

I would change them, i know its never a lot of fun but you should have some room in that truck.
