automatic transmission
Hello. I have a 2001 ford escape v-6 4x4 alt with a automatic transmission. i need to replace the transmission and was wondering if they updated the trans in the newer models of the escape and if they would be a direct bolt up into my 01 escape. thanks.

Not sure about the bolt-up issue - that question (perhaps both questions?) "may" be better addressed over in the Trans. Forum.
