Tax return to good use
Wow, it's been a busy winter!! I haven't been on here in a while. I put new 285's on because my 33's compound was getting a little hard(they were in storage for 6 or 7 years from a previous truck). I got my tax return so I decided to get some Bilstiens. Everyone that I talked to seems to love them for our trucks.
I also replaced my sylvania silverstars with sylvania ultras, I'll let everyone know how they are compared with the silverstars. i am not that impressed with the silverstars and one of them burnt out, so I am hoping the ultra's are better.

Congrats on the upgrades! I am thinking about some Monreo Reflex shocks instead of bilsteins I hear they are just as good and about a hundred bucks cheaper.

I'm with Miller_Feed on the tax refund thing. A couple of times I got a little back from the feds, but ended up oweing more than that to the state here in KS.
I maybe could afford an air freshener with what I got. LOL

Hey Husker, is it true Kansas was or is thinking of suspending their state income tax refunds? Seems I heard something on the news regarding Kansas and California playing with some "innovative' money saving ideas? Can you put the rumor to rest?

Yeah there was a spittin match between the governor and legislature over some state budget stuff and the legislature wasn't going to allow the governor to transfer funds from different accounts to pay refunds or state employees salaries. Politics in a tight budget situation. Governor signed the legislation the legislature wanted, so now all is well for the next week or two in the state of Kansas.
The legislators get paid too, so that probably wouldn't have gone on too long.
