My little project
Well i have a 1978 f150 4X4 with a 351m, c6, and a np 205 t case. I bought this truck for $800. Currently im waiting for my new body bushings and 3 in lift to come in the mail. the cab and the bed are shot, so i took the bed off tere was only 3 bolts holding that on. as for the cab it only has 1 bolt holding that on, the front mounts are gone literally. safe i know lol. so i bought my brothers 76 f150 2wd and taking his body and putting it on my frame. also this weekend im getting some used wheels and tires, they are 31-12.50 R15 bfg allterrains for $250. My future plans are to build up the motor and put a t-18 4spd behind it, swap some d60s under her and 6 in suspension list to name a few. So what do you all think of the project??

My favorite part is the plan to put a 4 speed in it. ;)
...you know like... make it like a "truck" ...or something? ;)

I prefer the pictures of your brother's pickup all to pieces. LOL :)
I'd rather lay on my back and look at the underside of my pickup than look
at its outside, while standing on my hind legs. YMMV

yea the other side is almost as bad, when i bought it it wasnt this bad but a couple times muddin pretty hard took care of them

ps- just realized why I didn't change my cab mounts already,
I've got to drop the mid-ship tank. And might as well fix my
power steering gear's leaky seal at the same time.
pps- just called and found out the machine shop that line bores
power steering gears still have the tooling so I'll be taking them
two of them. I'll start a new thread after getting mine done and
may offer this service myself, as a go-between, if they aren't
interested in shipping and receiving.

lol mom bout had a heart attack when she saw the front yard.. its the only place that i have to work on it, cant get into the backyard so you do what you got to do. yea mine are horrible, so im glad that the donors are good

well the copper truck is in pretty good shape, alot better than mine is. i have no idea when i can get to it at all. the only reason that im doing what im doing is because school is paying for it
